Our club was created on the 1st May 2012, from the members of two well established Chorley based clubs, Chorley Harriers & Tri and Chorley Athletic Club. The club is a grass roots club and welcomes anyone, of virtually any age or ability, who is interested in running, walking, throwing, jumping and multi-event disciplines such as triathlon. It has grown on its reputation for being fun and friendly, but also with coaches able to develop athletes to the very highest levels.
Club members vary from competitors on the international and national stages, through to people who just want to get a little fitter; Yes .. one club can fit all!
The club is run by volunteers and has no paid employees.
The club is also affiliated to Engalnd Athletics.
For a list of our coaches please see Coaching Page.
We are always looking for members to actively help with running the club, so if you can spare the time please contact one of the committee members.

The committee's role is project manage the clubs own race events. These include Roddlesworth Roller, Daffodil Doddle, Astley Trail Junior and Senior Race Series, Northern Track and Field, Cross Country, 6-hour race, Interclub races and other one-off events. The current team is Mike Coppin, Steve Baker, Martin Quinn, Jenny Wyles, Terry Dickinson, Hassan Khattab and Simon Townsend. Additions to the team are most welcome.
