The series normally consists of 3 races. Sportsshoes.com have agreed to support the event with discounted prizes and possibly a start and finish display.

Please can you enter online this year, as there will be no on the night entries.

IMPORTANT: The minimum age for runners in the senior race is 16-years-old.

Introduction

The Astley Trail Series of races for seniors and juniors, are set in the picturesque grounds of Astley Hall in Chorley and take pace on the first Wednesday of every month from May to July/August. Both races have proven to be very popular, drawing runners from all over the North West of England.

Registration : The Rose and Crown Pub, Chorley from 18:00
Races : Adult (5km), Primary/Junior (1.6km)
Time : Primary/Junior : 19:00, Adult : 19:30
Location : Astley Park, Chorley
Convenient parking on Queens Road, Peter Street, Water Street and the centre of Chorley, plus new parking at Ackhurst Lodge Car Park (off A581). please park responsibly, so as not to annoy the residents.
Marshals and Officials : Meet in front of Astley Park Gate at 18:15
Please allow plenty of time for picking up your number.

Provisional Prizes

Individual Prizes

Senior prizes will be awarded in the Rose and Crown after the event. There will only be only junior prizes for the whole series (3 races), but all runners will receive a chocolate bar after their run.

Series Team Prizes

3 x a 4 pack of beer for 1st male team
3 x a bottle of wine for 1st female team
