Congratulations to Chorley's international sprinter Graeme Ballard who won GOLD medals in the 100m (12:44) and 400m (58:00) representing Great Britain at the IPC Grand Prix event in (the presumably less snowy) Dubai

I went running yesterday(Saturday) around White Coppice and Nab. Most of the roads and paths are not passable, even with an ice axe! Field and moors were OK.

Apologies, if the Doddle results are not perfect but the timekeepers were hampered by many runners not wearing numbers, covering them up with their coats (because it was cold) and some people not going through the finish line. Apparently, this happens every year so we will be thinking about a better method for 2014 (any ideas gratefully received). Thank you for your patience.

Had a great run today with Darren Fishwick over Yorkshire. We completed the Howarth Hobble - 32 miles and 4500 feet of climbing, in snow most of the way. Thanks Darren felt quite honoured running with such a celebrity!
