Just completed the Denby Dale Travellers 6 mile road/hill route. Unfortunately couldn't beat my last year's time of 47.15 as I had bronchitis but mad a show for the club and enjoyed the pies and butties afterwards!

Midlancs XC at Liverpool is a chip timed event, and pre-entry to this specific, prestigious event is necessary. The cost is £1 for pre-entry, but £8 on the day. If you would would like to pre-enter please contact Stan by phone 012572 415632 or in person next Monday at Holy Cross School.

Pizzathon - tri this new taster session
For sometime our club has wanted to provide a regular adult swim session to help with triathlon training and to improve general fitness of athletes. We have arranged to hold a 'Swim Taster Session' in order to gauge the interest within the club for a regular swim session. All parts of the evening are optional i.e. you do not need to swim or run or eat pizza!
When : Thursday 29th October 2015
Where : Swim at Brinscall Pool between 18:00 and 19:00, run from Chorley Cricket Club from 19:30, followed by Pizza.
Cost : Swim £4, Run Free, Pizza £5

Note : For the swim session, athletes should be able to complete 4 lengths of a 25m pool using front crawl, breast stroke or butterfly.

For the first time in 32 years I am short of marshals for the Villages Race on Sunday 1 November. I have 7 marshals going to a Christening and cannot help . If anyone is willing to help please can you contact me at tdickenson@tesco.net ?
I need an early bird from 8 am and marshals from 10 am-all should finsih by 1pm and of course you will get fed!
